Welcome to Tag & Tale. Because our leather pieces are handcrafted and custom-engraved to mark your unique stories, we operate under specific guidelines to ensure transparency and fairness. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Shipping Policy

Order Processing

  • Handcrafting Timeline: Every piece is crafted with care. Orders are ready to be shipped within 2-3 business days. Once shipped, you will receive an email containing your order information and tracking number.
  • Address Changes: If you need to change your shipping information, please contact us as soon as possible. We can only update your address if your order has not yet been packed or processed.
  • Weekend Orders: Orders placed over the weekend will be processed beginning on the following business day.

Domestic Shipping (Australia)

We offer flat rates:

  • Regular Shipping: 9.95 AUD
  • Express Shipping: $14 AUD
  • Free Shipping: Automatically applied at checkout for orders over $100 AUD. This offer applies strictly to Australian residential addresses.

International Shipping

  • Custom Quotes: We welcome international orders! Shipping fees vary significantly by destination, so rates must be calculated individually. Please email us at tagandtaleaustralia@gmail.com before placing an order, and we will provide you with an accurate shipping quote.
  • Customs and Duties: Custom fees, import duties or associated charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and are not included in our shipping quote.

Incorrect Address and Returned Parcels

  • If a parcel is returned to Tag & Tale due to an invalid, incomplete or misspelled address provided by the customer, the customer will be responsible for covering the cost of the reshipping fee.

Local Pickup (Schofields, NSW)

  • How it Works: We offer a free local collection option for our community. Simply select Local Pickup at checkout to skip all shipping charges.
  • Scheduling Your Collection: Because our premium leather pieces are custom-engraved, we require 2-3 business days to handcraft your order. Once your piece is complete, we will email you to coordinate a mutually convenient day and time for collection.
  • Contactless Pickup: Your order will be placed inside our designated Tag and Tale Collection Box on our front porch right before your scheduled time. We kindly ask that you collect your package on the agreed time (not earlier) or latest within 4 hours of your agreed time slot to ensure the safety of your handcrafted item.
  • Address Release: Our exact pickup address will be provided in your final collection confirmation email once pickup time has been scheduled.
  • Order Requirement: Production will only begin once payment is fully processed online. We do not offer cash-on-pickup or address details for unpaid orders.

Product Disclaimer and Natural Variations

Material Notice

  • We utilise high-grade, premium synthetic and vegan leather for all of our engraved goods. This material is selected for its clean finish, providing an ideal surface for crisp engraving. Because it is manufactured rather than grown, it does not carry animal-hide marks, though minor manufacturing texture variations may occur.

Visual Appearance

  • We make every effort to display the true colours of our items across our digital channels. However, because different phone screens, computer monitors and brightness settings alter visual tones, the physical item may vary slightly in shade from the images viewed online.
